3. Reservations
By using the booking platform available on the website, users can book rooms at Volotel. Reservations are considered confirmed upon receipt of a confirmation email from the hotel.
Changes made after the reservation has been made must be communicated in writing. No change will be guaranteed until received in writing by the hotel. Rates resulting from changes may vary depending on the nature of the change, as well as the availability of the hotel at the time of the change request.
4. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation of a reservation must be made at least 24 hours before the arrival date. In case of no-show or late cancellation (less than 24 hours before arrival), the hotel reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee equivalent to the price of the first night’s accommodation.
In the case of a non-refundable reservation, if it is canceled, modified or in case of no-show, the total price for the reservation will be charged.
5. Payment
Accommodation rates include VAT (9%) and local tourism promotion tax (0.5%).
Payments can be made either at the reception, upon arrival at the hotel, or online, through the payment platforms available on the site. Volotel uses secure payment services, respecting legal data protection standards. In the case of online payment, users are responsible for providing correct and complete information.
To confirm a reservation, it is necessary to guarantee it with a valid credit card. If the credit card provided by the guest for guarantee does not have sufficient funds to cover the reservation, then the reservation will be considered invalid and canceled.
By making the reservation, the guest gives the hotel permission to withdraw the reservation cancellation amount from the credit card used for guarantee, but also to withdraw the total value of the reservation, for non-refundable reservations.
6. Check-in and check-out policy

The hotel is entitled to accommodate a guest or receive a visitor only if they comply with these terms and conditions.
The guest must present a document confirming his/her identity, such as an ID card, passport or driving license, to the hotel employee upon arrival. The guest will complete and hand over the accommodation form, which must be duly completed and signed in accordance with Romanian laws, to the receptionist. In case of failure to complete the form, the reservation will be treated as a no-show.
Requests for early check-in or late check-out will only be confirmed on the day of arrival or departure, depending on availability and will be subject to additional fees.
7. Privacy Policy
Volotel complies with the legislation on the protection of personal data. The information provided during the booking process is used exclusively to provide the requested services and will not be disclosed to third parties, except in cases provided by law.
